Bruce Barker Grew up in Romney, IN. Graduated from McCutcheon HS 1986 and Purdue University, 1994. Major: Recreation Management. Minors: Theatre, Supervision and Meteorology.

Previous jobs before Cactus piano bar . . . McDonald's, chimney sweep, fire extinguisher checker, used car salesman. Love . . . babies, color purple, anything 80?s, my cubbies, fishing, poker, traveling, Purdue. Don't love . . . haters, bad drivers, heartburn, having my cubbies lose. One thing you may not know about me? I have the smallest ears for an adult male in North America . . . just take a look next time you see me.

I have been lucky enough to be one of the few people who really LOVE their job. I play in my hometown, my home university, and feel very blessed to do so. It's going to be 13 years October 2008 and it's flown by. The last 11, "Dr" Kevin Morgan has been right there by my side. Conservative math would go like this?13 years x 51 weeks per year (we shut down one week at Christmas) is 663 weeks. 3 shows per week is 1989 shows for that 13 years. X 300 people per show (a pretty conservative number, I think) . . . and you get 596,700 people that have come into the Rusty Bucket to catch a show. And we're not done yet folks. Thanks for a great 13 years and here's to many more!

 

meet the "Doctor", kevin morgan

Kevin Morgan grew up in Frankfort, IN. He loves playing music and having a good time. He also enjoys being married to a hottie and loves being a dad.

"I've never had more fun playing music, than with Bruce. It's a blast."

When Kevin isn't playing music, being a dad he likes to read, watch movies and DJ. Outside of that, lookout for him on the local golf courses, you may hear him screaming, "FORE!"
